Symphony in the Schools: A Partnership for Learning

For Grades K-5: "With Strings Attached!"

Members of the RHSO String Quartet will present a concert for the school and parents, featuring a program of varied music for all ages from the wealth of musical literature for string quartet. The quartet will also conduct a curriculum-based residency at the school, culminating in a concert featuring students and quartet members for the school and parents.

For Grades 6-12: "Making It Up As You Go"

Our Conductor, Dr. David Rudge, will offer workshops in Creative Improvisation for orchestra students. Maestro Rudge is a violinist and educator who has conducted orchestras across 5 continents to rave reviews. He is presently Director of Orchestras and Opera at the State University of New York at Fredonia, and Music Director of the Orchard Park Symphony. He is founder of the Improv. Getting it Right
